Hi,
	On all the MOT's i have come across 
the insualtion between windings and core 
are actually mica on the inside and will 
probably hold off a good deal more than 
2.5Kv. 4 Mot's in series are practically 
identical to a Radar transformer and work 
very well with sync gaps. MOT's are 
plentiful and perfom well, the only 
concern is that despite the ease of 
availabilty they dont make good first time 
coils.
