ozone rich environment

Hi,
     I've been playing with my medium sized coil a lot the last few days
and I've been noticing that once I've done a few long runs on it I'll start
getting better performance, and also the sparks seem a bit brighter than
usual.  I haven't really come to a conclusion as to why this is happening,
but I think it might have something to do with a lot of ozone developing in
my garage which might give it a bit better atmosphere to operate in.  Does
anyone have any ideas on what else might cause this or know how ozone
buildup affects arc length/intensity?
