You should have another at 1.66 MHz. You show a primary frequency and the
3rd harmonic. When you use the signal generator your wave shape is usualy of
good quality as it is produced by the generator not the coil. If the test
equipment is not sensitive to impedance problems you see only amplitude
changes across a resistive load like 50 ohms or 600 ohms. When you run the
coil in an oscilator mode is when you see distortion. A poor quality signal
generator is different.
