Well darn, you're right . . . gave Digi-key a call and found out for
sure.  The "standard package" of 50 refers to the package they get
them in . . . not what they sell them in.  Oh well, looks like my
business will go elsewhere, like Allied Electronics, who sells 100
resistors suitable for MMC use for $8.00.
