Hi Allan,

Only 12" streamers? Hmmm...I wonder what's up with
that? Too small tank cap maybe? The twin MOT supply
has ample current but marginal voltage. It needs a
pretty good sized tank cap to take advantage of the
stiff current. I got 48"-60" streamers out of my 4" x
24" coil using a twin MOT supply at 3KVA. Of course,
that was with a 47nF tank cap and a monstrous sucker
gap. I'm presently experimenting with a little 4" x
18" (28AWG) coil using a 50nF MMC tank cap, and it
develops frantic 36" streamers at 1600VA. What are the
details of your coil?
