Steve: the large value of the coil you want and the high voltage limits
construction. If you wind a series of thin stacked bobens you can get what
you want, This method is used in ignition coil type construction. You can
make the bobins of plexeglass with a hole saw and plex pipe or rod sections
glued together.Like your wifes sewing machine bobins.
