RE: circuit board makers

The best and most economical place is:

www.expresspcb-dot-com

I use this service at both work for engineering prototype boards and for
personal use. They have their own free software
which is extremely easy to use, has a large library of readily available
parts (plus you can make your own), and delivery
time is extremely fast as well. Design your board on their software. Click
a button to send file with payment information, and you'll receive finished
boards in about two days.

I've checked out www.pcb123-dot-com, which does have better software than
www.expresspcb-dot-com, but turn-around times, and prices are higher than
www.expresspcb-dot-com.

Or you could use conventional PCB houses (such as www.pcbexpress-dot-com) and
others, but you need to have your own artwork program and actually creating
the files (gerbers, drill layers, etc...) can be a daunting task to anyone
who hasn't done it before.

Are there any places like pcb123-dot-com or whatever that will CUT up yout
finished boards to the size you want? I"m looking for some boards around 2"
x 10" or so.

I'm not going to pay to have a circuit board made if I have to take a hack
saw to it to give it the "finishing touches." I can make awful, distorted
crooked boards at home already, and want to do nothing but solder parts to a
proerly made board.
