Hey,

I want to make my tesla coil portable, drag
it out on the drive way, take it to someone
else's house etc...

Hows this idea for a "ground":

Those twist in 'pet' anchor/screw things
you get at the pet store for leashing
your animal to. 

They make different sizes. I'm thinking
the biggest one I can possibly find.

It won't be like a 6 foot pipe, but it should
have lots of contact with the ground.

Only thing I'm worried about is that it, as a coiled
open screw, might have some inductance which would
screw up things. 

What do you all think?
