John,

Something about the numbers you gave seem a bit off, mainly your values for 
k.  A value of k greater than unity simply isn't possible.  That would 
allow more energy to appear in the secondary than was placed into the 
primary.  I think perhaps the reason some of your other calculations are 
not working out are due to some faulty calculations in computing k.
