Unfortunately, I don't think any automotive airbags are actually made from
Kevlar. The vast majority are currently made from woven nylon fabric,
although a few manufacturers are experimenting with Vectra liquid crystal
polymer.

The nature of the airbag's use requires some resilience and the ability for
the individual fibers in the fabric to stretch, something nylon does much
better than Kevlar.
