This sounds great! I am planning on coming although I have to make sure I
am able to go first. (It's quite a long drive from where I am) If I can
make it, I'll definitely bring my mini coil and also my 6 inch coil if I
can get it working again. (Grumble grumble) Nothing out of the ordinary or
extremely spectacular, but still fun to play around with. =D

We will be kicking off the "2nd Annual Lightning on the Lawn" party in
Baraboo, WI, on Sat., Sept. 6th.

We're coming together with a local car club that will be hosting a large
car show, usually around 350-400 vehicles. The car show starts at 12 noon
and goes until early evening. A live DJ will be spinning records.

We provide the "evening entertainment" from around 4 PM until 10 PM with
our Tesla coils.

We will have a 220 Volt 100 Ampere service to accomodate most small and
large coils. I'm fabricating a special 150 ft. long 6 AWG "extension cord"
to bring the power out to our area.

The car people are asked to bring a dish to pass, but we don't have to
because with people coming from a long distance this provide! s a chance for
food poisoning so we will avoid this issue totally.

Just fire up your trusty TC and load it in the van.

We will also be doing the deliveries of the large and medium toroids and
the 15 kV 120 mA NST's. If you want a large NST this is the time to get
it. Price will be $100 and these are brand new units --- no rejects, etc.

We will run a small "swap meet" for anyone that has TC parts for sale like
caps, xmfrs, and other goodies.

The location is in the town of Baraboo, WI, which is 9 miles south of Wis.
Dells exit 92 off I90/94. The event will be located at the end of Lake
Street in Baraboo at Deppe Auto Restoration (local business).

Setup time for coilers is 11 AM so we can beat the car crowd. A setup area
will be cordoned off for unloading. All loading up will be the next
morning at 10 AM.

I will have a sig. gen and digital storage scope available to capture
waveforms and a special "fine ! tuning device" to help peak coils for those
who are interested.

Hope to see you all there for a fun time . . . . . . . .
