that looks pretty cool.

The only thing i would worry about is that the curvature is less on the 
bottom and top.  It seems it would promote arcs to the primary coil, rather 
than arcs out to the side of the coil.  But maybe it is smooth enough to 
overcome the sightly distorted shape.  It should look pretty professional!
Too bad you cant just buy the lids ;)
