Hey all.

Spring has sprung and the Biggg Coil of Oklahoma is about ready for
action. It's sporting new variac current control & a 90 deg. mechanical
on the fly phase adjustment for the 3600 RPM sync. motor. More
distribution transformers are on hand for greater voltages this Season.

The new rotary can be seen at www.flash-dot-net/~kreld/IM000434.JPG For
size comparison, the aluminum base is 2 feet square. The motor is 5 HP
3600 RPM modified for sync. operation. The 13" g-10 disk swings 5/8"
electrodes in aluminum heatsink/mounts. The stationary electrodes are
3/4" dia & rotate 90 deg. A gear reduction motor drives the stationary
electrodes on the fly. Complete temporary website is at
www.flash-dot-net/~kreld/Default.htm

PS. There is also a link to Dave Wightman's website where he keeps his
Bertha Coil, another large Oklahoma Coil.
