the secret is ...   you cut the thru the holes not at the center line but 
slightly above the center line leaving more of a "C" than a half 
hole.   The tube will compress slightly when going into the hole and "stay" 
in place better.  Also, when "winding" a primary, it is best to leave the 
tubing as is ( as found wound in the box) and basically lay the tubing into 
the slots. As far as a primary mount system, several peices of plastic 
cutting board ( or if your budget permits  LEXAN   not plexiglas) works 
well and looks pretty sharp too...   secure the mounts first and then apply 
the tubing...     trying to "wind" a primary by working tubing thru holes 
will do nothing more than harden the tubing and weaken the enjoyment of 
coiling....
