Yeah, it's a common misconception based on people
taking apart modern monitors and TV's and assuming
that the ones with a built in rectifier are all one
can come by now.  With a little scrounging and luck
you can find old B/W TV's and Monitors, plus of course
the current sources Dan mentioned...another one is
Information Unlimited.
