Sue Gaeta.  Sue has done some really excellent work.

You should check out her web site.  I don't have it
bookmarked right now, but I'm sure she'll be glad to
point it out for you.  She posts to the TCML all the
time.  You must have missed her recent posts.  There
are two or three other women involved in coiling as
well, that come to mind.
