That's true. $25 sounds cheap today. Back in the '70s I use to fix TVs and 
during the summer I think I replaced the flyback in everyone I knew who had 
RCAs. I think the chassis was CTC24 or something like that. That is one 
reason why I swore never to buy another RCA!

Back when TV repair was a worth while buisness I replaced a few flyback
transformers. The price of $25 is cheep even in 1970 $ values. At todays
de-valued US dollar the cost would be more than the cost of a TV. A price of
$25 is quite reasonable for a new or reconditioned flyback.
