its called a reactor core its just a bunch of wire wraped around an iron 
core. how it works is the core stores energy in a magnitic field than 
pulses it out into the cap when the gap fires. the reactor core makes the 
dc tc work like ac tc. this osilation causes the voltage to double so if 
you get a cap make sure its double the rating of the power suply.
