When Ed Wingate runs his big magnifier during his teslathon in the late
summer, there are lots of insect strikes and big insects too.  Usually moths
or other things flying around
at night that catch an arc or two.  Again, a high power, expensive bug
zapper.

Not too mention Tom Vale's infamous high voltage fly swatters he sells at
the various teslathons and meets.  They are a favorite, and they *do* pack a
punch when you get
accidentally touch the flimsy chinese-made grill.
