What is the largest VTTC known to have been built?  I've heard of 5kW,
but nothing appreciably larger.  My friend and I recently found a pair
of 3CX2500A3's on eBay for a very good price, and also got our hand on
a 45kVA plate transformer from a decommissioned shortwave station.
We have a pair of tank capacitors rated for 75KVAR each, and so are
well on our way to a very large VTTC.  Does anyone know of any other
projects in this size range?
