Thank all for the suggestion, effectively the glass envelope that I've seen
was not completely clear but it appeared
a bit opalescent. This for the thin film of phospore internally deposited.
In effect also some neon gadget that appears
unipolar have the current path deposited on bulb like thin graphite
reticule and MHz electrodeless compact lamp have also this screen to avoid
EMC emission. The internal gas I think is a mixture Ar-Ne 50-75% to reduce
the discharge potential
and have (less then mercury vapour) the UV radiation at 2537 ang. The gas
pressure I think is high 300-500mm Hg to
favorite the discharge and not the general luminescence.

I'll try to build one with a glass ellissoid from a mercury lamp 400W for
street illumination, cleared from his old phospore
washed and then filled with thin colloidal suspension of several coloured
phosphore (Tecnolux manager is a friend of mine)
and worked by another friend neonist.
In every case I will buy the coloured heart that many list members have
signaled to me.

Cheers,

Vladi
