Does the phase change?

Hello guys.

Once more a more than obvious question:

I currently use a MOT as inductive ballast but the power lost ist the MOT
seems to be higher than usefull.
If I change to capacitive ballasting, does this change the phase angle I
have to adjust my SRSG to?
And I need a fomula to calculate current / power for the case I series
connent 5 1µF MOT caps with one HV lead, resulting in
200nF (?!). at 10KV supply voltage.
