While I have yet to get my feet wet with SS coiling, the results
recently achieved are astounding by any measure.  I don't think anyone
said to the Wright brothers "Nice, but how many miles per gallon are you
getting?"  Similarly, as long as it's "good", I think the exact
efficiency is a distant concern when compared with performance vs.
design topologies, reliability, cost, and simplicity of solid state
coils.  In a couple years after this is all old-hat, more than one
person may care if it's consuming 2000W or 2010W, but not now.

Very intersting stuff, how do we agree on a baseline or procedure for
energy in/energy out measurements?  Or am I asking too much?  I'd be
most
interested in someone describing and identifying the
equipment/measurement
techinques necessary, then we can either follow those procedures or
'wave
our dix in the air' claiming whatever.
