Well, all the thanks for the DRSSTC / ISSTC designs should go to Jimmy H,
and Steve Ward.  I basically just copied something that
was already done.  Unless of course, you meant by using one of my
PlasmaSonic H-Bridges for your design.

The prejudice in the past for using IGBTs was that it just wasn't necessary.
With the double resonant topologies, currents are much higher and the
IGBT (because of the addition of minority carriers in the substrate which
MOSFETs do not have), can handle much more current and the Vce (sat)
actually decreases as current increases (again because of minority carrier
conduction)
