I updated my x-ray experiment to include the appearance of the inside glass
walls of an older "party bulb":

I didn't look at this visually- to avoid x-ray exposure- and used a special,
low lux webcam mounted on a tripod filming from a discrete distance.  If you
capture a similar fluorescence, the bulb, tube, etc. is most likely emitting
x-rays.
