Came across this very intersting job opportunity with a company called
Ionatron.  Not sure how long funding would last on a project like this
(directing electrical arcs using lasers), but definitely interesting.

Senior Electrical Engineer
Design, manufacturing and testing of pulsed high voltage power supplies.
