Yes! Just a silly lowpass with MOVs and spark gaps. Spark gaps can take heavy sustained stuff while the MOVs are the last resort...

Nothing too special really aside from it has been well proven over the years. Had to up resistor dissipation and MOV values per field reports.

Easy to build in yourself so no need for the extra filter.

Is the Terry Filter just a RC low pass (to block high freq) with MOVs added? I am wondering because my TC plan included a RC low pass filter, so if I built a Terry Filter could I just ditch that?
