RE: home grown plasma globe

hi all,

is there any other gases that we can fill the plasma globe with?

budget is tight so i am wondering if there is any cheap, portable source of inert gas that is easily available.

so far, the only ones that i can think of is welding argon / aquarium CO2 canister. can we pump the air from these canisters straight into the evacuated globe? - will it shatter the globe?

I have not tried pure Xenon, but I believe you are correct. Note the
color on late model luxury car automobile headlamps. As I understand
it, those are pure Xenon bulbs.

so pure xenon would be all whitish blue (more on the blue side with
