Hi Jared,

I know little about Eigenfrquencies and even less about Lagrangian.
However given what ever mathematical technique you use to represent the
energy stored in L and C and define resonance you still have to know how
that energy flows between the L's C's and R's of the primary and secondary.
So your stuck with circuit analysis what ever technique you use to represent
the behavior of the individual circuit elements and I doubt that there is a
more compact (least number of things to remember) method than Laplace in
describing the behavior of linear circuit elements (L, C and R).
