RE: Baffles

When I put the 100w bulb in the 6" dia PVC, the tube was vertical and
set of thee small spacers to allow air flow up the tube. That is
complete and the form is now wound with 1400 turns of 24ga and the
second coat of polyurethane is drying.
On the baffles, the OD of the baffles will be turned in my drill press
and will be very close to a press fit and then polyurethane applied.
I will only have to plug a 1/4 hole in the center of the baffles with
RTV.

Baffles don't have a clear reason to be necessary. A spark would burn
trough
most glues quite easily. Be careful with this 100 W bulb inside the
form.
PVC deforms easily with heat.
