Ok, thanks Mike. Sounds as though best results were maybe about 0.12 (guestimate, no calc). Some coils can manage higher k and others can't. Did you get periodic racing sparks with the higher k settings or flashover? Just curious what you mean by "best results".

No, the primary is flat. I meant the center of the tubing (3/8").
