First congratulations to Martin for the UK (amateur) record.

It was very impressive, the hall is only about 8M wide by 20M long and there
were around thirty people watching Martins coils around the walls of the
hall.

What is also not mentioned is that some of the metal fittings in the ceiling
of the hall had to be removed prior to the record attempt to prevent
unwanted arcing.
