.2 mm is good for 10-20 kHz before skin effect losses kick in. Then again, 60Hz mots ain't famous for their efficiency. Could be operated higher with the cheaper litz (fewer thicker strands= cheaper per pound to make) and just accept more losses.

Hi Mike

As SMPS were wrecked for parts (and one given to fellow coiler for
investigations) cannot operate as completed unit this time.
Dia of Litz Primary wire strands is 0.2mm.

Will keep future supplies intact for experimentation as completed units.
Notes some ideas about using these as a source for DC resoonant PSU and they
might have sufficienty isolation to put in series. Hope to find a schematic
some time to check  ideas. In first instance it might be possible to remove
and reverse rectifiers on HV side and at least make a +/- supply. Anybody
wih schematics  for typical MWO SMPS ??
