If I was to make this coil up I would want a "soft" start with a 
warning that it is about to fire.  A lot of the safety factor in the 
usual TC is in the slow ramp up with a variac or the scream of the 
ARSG. You don't have that.
Even a few seconds fixed beeping before firing might be a good idea.
Any thoughts.
