I thought of that too *:-))

But Peter, and many, point out that the mirror surface "we want" is only 1/8 inch wide. The "long face" travels in the wrong direction for us.

Peter already knows all about this stuff:

it. I believe the mirrors are surface mirrored, and
looked to be high quality. Perhaps one of these could
be useful in what you're doing, as they are often
found surplus.
