I agree that I am not an astute businessman. I figure the day job pays the 
bills and have little expectation of an income from the hobby I . At present 
I am happy to just have the publicity. That may change...
I finished the Discovery Channel video today about the Xmas tree.
I did a storyboard with a cute 7 yo girl (daughter of one of our friends) 
who stole the show along with Santa. 6 hours for the whole shoot generating 
65 mins of video aiming for a 3-4 min segment.
Had a problem with carbon tracking and shorting on my disc (fibre - phenolic 
I think)  This was causing sorting of the supply to mains earth.  Not  a 
good thing. I drilled it out in situ and it worked OK. There was a lot of 
smoke on the video after I reviewed it but no more shorting. All caught on 
video with the fix and interviews. They love it when things go wrong.
This should screen in Canada on Discovery channel Daily planet prior to 
Christmas. I would be grateful for a copy on any format if anyone sees it.

On Friday, I thought I was completely out of new Tesla ideas. Then I had a 
bit of a Eureka moment as I do.  Think Jetsons meets Tesla coil. (I've never 
seen the Jetsons). I am sure Discovery Canada will be all Tesla'd out so 
perhaps Discovery USA?
