Re: synchronous motor

I've used the standard 1800 rpm teletype motors for a 4 electrode synchronous sparkgap with 2.6 x resonant value for good results.

Thanks Dr. What do you recommend for using it? I am assuming just a
momentary push button unless you have something more elaborate to advise. Is
there some kind of circuit that I might be able to add to do the job for me?

They usually require a 4 uF cap.
