I usually splice extra lengths onto the 50' piece by using a piece of solid copper wire (12 awg iirc) to align the two pieces of tubing and provide something to solder to. Sorta like sweating a copper pipe connection. I do seem to have better soldering with a 150watt soldering iron (type used to solder sheets of metal together).

Where the heck do you guys find longer lengths than 50' copper tubing?

Any suppliers, websites?...etc?...

BTW...Here is a jacobs ladder I felt like making :p
