thanks for everyones input!
              
  I did the yellow to white conection, and then put power to the red and remaining yellow,...seems to run smooth & fast. I can switch wires around & change rotation direction, but I believe C clockwise is correct as there is a small fan blade pressed on the shaft and blows air accross the windings.
 
    maybe a good canditade for a propeller gap ??  ;-)
