I was thinking that. Just go to a camera shop and tell them you want some
throw away cameras for your hobby... They remove the film for development
and recycle the rest. Be sure to discharge them, they hold a charge a long
time and have a nasty bite!

    The tricky thing might be getting them to survive  the duty cycle of 
100-500 pulses per second. But cheap enough to give it a  try!
