[TCML] RE: Hyperbaric gap - a question



I believe that is simply a very misguided attempt at I don't know what.  Maybe it looked cool?  Putting a cap across the gap accomplishes nothing useful, and is the worst possible thing to do to the cap, as it's constantly being fully charged, then shorted out.
