Re: [TCML] TV Heads UP: Tesla, History Channel, 14 May, 8PM, EDT

DC,

No, I'm afraid that I didn't tape it but as Dan Kline stated,
it's scheduled to play again on the History Channel Saturday
evening at 7 PM (CDT, I assume) or you can purchase the
CD from the History Channel for $25 if you're so inclined.
Heck, I may consider purchasing that tape from the History
Channel myself. It was that good IMHO.

Dave:

Did you or anyone else on the list happen to tape it?

Some idiot drove a car into a Comcast junction box knocking out our TV and
computer for the entire evening.

Anyone that has it please advise and I will contact you off list.

Dr. Resonance

Hi Jeff, all,

I just watched that special this evening. I thought it was one of
the best Tesla documentaries that I've seen ;^) I got a chance to see a few of the TCML thread contributors such as you, Sam Barros, and Jeff Behary as
well as seeing some of those beuatiful
coils, too. Lots of nice arcs and sparks footage ;^)) I was also glad that
they showed Ed Wingate's maggie in action, too. Loved seeing those
umpteen-stacked 1256Ds behind Sam Barros as well as those 3 huge pigs behind you for the Beijing Olympics Tesla coil. Overall, it was well worth watching
and it gave Tesla the proper credit that has long been overdue.

   Minor Note:
History Channel can be a lot less then accurate, in their
   history...

They did their best on this one but constantly asked us to simplify our
explanations for "the folks at home".

So what starts out as a brilliant explanation turns into mush... :-)
