Ted in NZ here (Indy 500 etc)

I beleive its the only way to go woth MOT's and the power thru put is very 
much increased. MOT's are more like NST's with their magnetic shunts. I 
measure MOT's as havinh 6Hy Leakage inductance so thats 24 Hy in a 4 stack,


never killed a MOT yet BTW

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but is it bad to run a MOT stack with a
resonant sized cap?  I know it kills NSTs, but are MOTs safe?  Just curious.
