Hi Bob,

I use a Weller station that can transfer a high heat quickly. If you don't have something like that, then you could always add a small dab of epoxy to each sink post and then press it in the post holes. The soldering posts of the sink are for mechanical stability. Solder is ideal but not absolutely necessary.
