RESULT = WL / area * Rho

I tried this in relation to the JavaTC demo coil, that gave 27ohms, though my figure comes out 0.015620142575432545 ?

Haven't checked your resistivity value but if it's in ohms/cm you need to convert dimensions to cm. If it's in ohms/in, ohms/m, etc. you need to convert to the same units as those in which the resistivity is expressed.

R = rho length / area [all in same units}

Al Cu rho 238 140 microohm cm [10^-6 ohm cm]
