Hi Dave,
I was thinking of doing just that in later days... it seems it is wound one
direction and twice as long. Leave a gap of a couple of inches in the center
to adjust coupling. That was the advice I was given from the list. End to
End electrodes arcs are pretty impressive. I have seen Dr Sparks! He warned
me to move back a little - glad I did!

was thinkin' of building one.... prob 6" dia  sec.   are output sparks
generaly limited to the length of the sec. , or less ? ....is the sec. wound
in the same direction ,from end to end ?, 

   would following plans from the 'High  Frequency Apparatus' book be of any
use ??
