RE: [TCML] New Geek Group Video - How to Wire A Tesla Coil



When the spark gap fires, it does not send a series of "impulses" of energy and does not add more energy on subsequent cycles.  In spark gap coils, the analogy would be that you pull a "primary" punching bag all the way to one side of the room and release it.  This then couples to another "secondary" punching bag having the same resonant frequency.
