Re: [TCML] Pole Pig Cap



I was hoping to only have 1 or 2 layers, so the inevitable heating of the wire would be a little slower compared to on the spool.  I guess I'll just try it out and see what happens.

Why not use the roll of wire as a ballast as is? I've heard of folks using 500' spools of wire as ballasts without any additional effort. Simply hook up a Jacob's Ladder (climbing arc) and measure current draw. You may already have what you need.
