Thanks, I did not know that.

Hi Miles,

I stand corrected as do you. The Maxwell's are 500pps at 15% voltage
reversal. They should not be reversed beyond 50% thusly they are often
paired in series. Jim Lux did some clacs on these awhile ago I think.

Thanks,
Jim Mora

Jim,

The 37667's are rated for 1000 pps. Look them up at general atomics site.

Hi All,

I am wanting to run an experiment with the infamous .03uf 1PS Maxwell's -
37667. I have 2 in series (low power) and that is all they can do under most
setups! To be honest they work ok for my 4" tweaked 12KV>30ma coil.

This is a non-Telsa experiment so Chip may pitch me on this one (they suck
for Tesla use IMO). Anyway, if you have some that have NOT been OVER-volted
of OVER pulsed or leaking, and must still be .03uf, I would like to be
contacted off list for your opportunity to move to CDC's or ? and hotter
sparks.

FYI, I am building a HV supply and they will be filters only, which is their
intended use I think. I need about ten more. Please don't contact me with
stressed ones!

BTW, does anyone know where all these come from in "medical equipment". They
can't do defibrillators as far as I know. Md's?

Thanks,
Jim Mora
