Re: [TCML] New 12" secondary

Joe,

Your new secondary should be a good performer. It reminds me a little of
Richard Hull's Nemesis coil which used a 14" dia. x 48" tall secondary wound
with about 1000 turns of 18awg wire. He used a large 14" x 60" toroid, and
obtained 15 foot sparks using about 11kVA or maybe it was 13kVA, from a
pig and ARSG. Your taller secondary will help to reduce primary strikes.

Cheers,
John

Subject: [TCML] New 12" secondary

Got a new secondary wound. 12" PVC duct (O.D. = 12.75"). 4300' of 18Ga

single build for ~1300 turns over 55.75".

This will become the basis of my next resonator, which will eventually

be driven by a UD controlled DR power supply. Though at the outset I

will probably drive it with my ARSG/Pig.

Many thanks to Phil S. and Bart A. for their expert instruction on how

to coat such a beast.

Cheers,

Joe
